I've never been happier than I am when I'm wearing this. The winters where I live are harsh and I'm cheap so I keep my thermostat pretty low. This was a solution to all my cold problems. It feels like a hug of warmth. It's literally a blanket that you wear. I'm so comfortable, I just want to wear this forever. The details (wings, tail, hood) are totally unobtrusive so I can wear this to bed/sleep without any problems. It's super high quality and looks and fits just like it does in the photos (even though I'm considerably "bigger" than the model!). Probably one of my favorite purchases of all time.
My friend really loved this as a gift, and it was entirely as I expected it to be on arrival.
Keep in mind these kigurumi are made to be comfortably baggy. There is elastic in the ankles and wrists, and my tabby kigurumi fits me fine at 5'2", but there's definitely excess fabric around the knees and waist.
Got the XL for my 5’10” son. It is perfect - the ankles come all the way to his ankles. The fabric seemed a little thin, but actually makes it more comfortable and a perfect weight to wear around our Colorado house - where I am told I keep the thermostat too low in the winter to save energy. I got the Big Foot Duck Slippers as a joke (and if he ever wanted to wear this get-up to a costume party). They really make the outfit and give us all a small when he’s waddling around. He LOVES this thing and wears it all the time! My only disappointment was that the Kigu was made in China, not Japan. Makes sense given what I paid for it. But plan on keeping an eye on the seams. They are not double-stitched and given the loose fit, it’s really easy to get the Kigu caught on stuff and tug the seams and button closures.
